Most consultations across California are free or low-cost and come with a written treatment plan and price; ask whether the fee is in-network for your plan, what sedation options exist and how many visits the treatment takes. A second opinion is normal for implants, jaw surgery and full-mouth reconstruction, and reputable specialists expect it.

Having run my professional office for over 40 years with 8 professionals and 30 β 40 employees and hundreds of clients, Iβve come to some understanding of the difficulty in running an efficient yet polite and compassionate office. Any type of impoliteness to clients was never tolerated and, hopefully, mistakes were readily admitted and apologized for. My dealings with the office staff of this office were amazingly difficult. Clear, gross mistakes in providing and obtaining information from a patient who wants to facilitate efficient office conduct, abounded in my contacts with the office. When I tried to summarize for this officeβs benefit all of the mistakes the office made and which occurred in a tiny 2-day period, I was met with incredible hostility. Not only was this not appreciated, but there was no apology and no compassion. Just an office employee hung the phone up on me. Numerous mistakes β no apology. Incompetence, i. e. all those mistakes, coupled with impolite arrogance and, finally, out and out hostility, is one heck of a combination. And this from an office that is supposed to be in the business of dealing with ill people in need of dental/medical care. It was with a

Dr. Scott Fross was amazing! I had to get a molar removed, bone graft and gum surgery, then later an implant. Dr. Fross eased my nerves, explained the whole process and provided a comfortable and pain-free experience. I highly recommend Dr. Fross and his staff for any oral surgery needs. Thank you Dr. Fross!

Great experience. I had a problematic wisdom tooth coming in at an angle. Staff was friendly, surgery was seamless, and Doctor Fross did a follow up call to check on me.

I had a mixed experience with this office. My in person visit and treatment were good. Dr. Fross was professional and the care itself seemed solid. However, I had an issue with billing transparency and communication. A panoramic X-ray was taken during my visit, and I was later billed $108 because it was not covered by insurance due to frequency limits. This cost was not communicated to me before or after the X-ray was taken, which was frustrating. What was more disappointing was the follow-up communication. When I reached out with detailed questions and supporting information, the responses were very brief and did not fully address my concerns. It felt like there was little effort to engage or resolve the issue. While the clinical care was good, I would strongly recommend that patients proactively ask about coverage and costs before any imaging or additional procedures. I also hope the office improves transparency and communication around billing.

I had the best experience with Dr Fross for my wisdom teeth removal. He is professional, efficient and very pleasant to work with. His office is highly skilled at handling patients with the biggest focus being on patient comfort and ease. My recovery was surprisingly fast with no swelling with minimal post-op discomfort
